Like really feel it— all of you together, in your home, being exactly who you are, at the ages you are, in this moment?
Inviting me into your home allows you to all be together as a family while I capture the beauty in your everyday lives: the snuggles and tickles, laughter and tears, the details and moments.
I have been photographing families in their homes since 2017 and bring a unique lens to an otherwise normal day!

The logistics are simple. I will come spend 3-4 hours with you on a morning or afternoon of your choice. You are free to go about your day, and I will just tag along and hang out on the sidelines (and chase around your kids or maybe climb on the occasional piece of furniture, with your permission of course). I take a LOT of photos. I shoot through the moments in order to snag the best combination of facial expressions or the most precious moment. I experiment with different compositions. I consider all the details in the frame. I strive to tell your story in the most visually interesting way possible! I get in the zone but also interact with the kids and everyone to make the experience as comfortable as possible. There is no posing or directing like in Lifestyle photography. I may open window blinds and turn off overhead lights when possible.

A beautifully designed and curated photo album of your "day in the life". This album will be full of photos that share what your life felt like in this moment in time. It will include small details of your home and family, interactions, emotions, and moments that you will never get back but can hold onto forever. You will also receive a slideshow video “reveal” as well as a gallery of high resolution files that will be made available for download and sharing. These sessions make an excellent yearly tradition!

Just don't be afraid to be yourselves! Dress like you would normally. Don't feel it's necessary to clean up. All real life moments are welcome: doing dishes, brushing teeth, cooking, snuggling, fighting etc. Since we have about 3 hours together many clients like to plan a couple of activities during that time: baking, playing in the backyard, a project etc. This will assure you that there are a variety of photos. That being said, it all depends on kids' ages and personalities. So most importantly, you do you.
